SCENE 01 / MULTI CAMERA SHOOTS
Multi-Camera Production Services
Professional multi-cam crews and equipment for live events, TV production, and complex shoots across Italy.
Multi-camera shoots use two or more cameras at once to catch a scene from many angles. This boosts coverage and keeps every take matched. From live broadcasts at Cinecittà Studios in Rome to fashion and corporate events in Milan, this approach is standard for interviews, live events, and dialogue scenes. It also suits any shoot where repeated takes are hard or simply not possible.
We build multi-camera setups scaled to your production, matching camera bodies, lenses, and monitor kit. Our team draws on Italy's famed production base, including Cinecittà and RAI studios. We tie every camera together cleanly, so your director and editor get full coverage from each angle.

Italian multi-cam crews from Rai studios to Mediolanum Forum
Italian multi-camera production runs on one of Europe's deepest broadcast traditions. Our vision-mixing and camera crews trained at the Rai Centro di Produzione Roma in Saxa Rubra, the Mediaset stages at Cologno Monzese, and Sky Italia shoots in Rogoredo Milano. Many also worked the Cinecittà sound stages, which hosted live-to-tape variety from the Studio Uno era through Domenica In and decades of prime-time formats.
Our network draws on operators and tech directors who have moved between Sanremo at the Teatro Ariston, X Factor Italia, the Strega prize broadcasts, and major sport for Rai Sport and Sky Italia. The same crews cover festival concert grids at the Mediolanum Forum, the Lucca Summer Festival, the Pala Alpitour Torino, the I-Days Milano, and the Arena di Verona opera season.
Camera packages route through houses such as Panalight Roma, Stop-Service, Cinegrip, and Bartolini. We pair Sony HDC system cameras and Grass Valley LDX with ARRI Alexa LF and Mini LF for cinematic multi-cam coverage. A graded set of robotic, jib, and Polecam options covers tight studio gallery work. The standard rig is rounded out by EVS XT-VIA replay, Sony MVS or Grass Valley Kayenne switchers, and Riedel Bolero comms.
Each job starts with a venue and format brief that sets audience expectations and the broadcast destination. From there we draw up a tech plan. It covers camera count, line-cut versus ISO recording, fibre and triax cabling routes, intercom and comms layout, and on-air or post-only delivery needs.
Crews scale to fit the job. A three-camera interview kit suits press junkets at the Hotel Quirinale Roma or the Hotel Excelsior on the Lido di Venezia. Five-to-seven-camera builds serve corporate events at Allianz MiCo Milano or La Nuvola Roma EUR for finance and pharma clients. Twelve-plus-camera concert and broadcast setups add redundant ingest, backup power, dual UPS protection, and CDN-distributed streaming for global audiences.
Setup blocks build in venue-system integration with house lighting consoles, audio split feeds from the FOH and monitor desks, and IMAG projection screens. We schedule full tech rehearsal time before going live to air or to the streaming master. Crews work under CCNL Cinema Audiovisivo terms, with ENPALS inputs and INAIL safety forms in place. The same team delivers integrated YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, LinkedIn, and custom RTMP streaming, plus multi-bitrate ProRes and H.264 masters for edit and broadcast deliverables.
FAQ
Technical Capabilities
How many cameras can you deploy for multi-cam productions?
We often run 3-12 camera setups and can scale beyond that for major events. Standard setups include 3-camera interviews, 5-7 cameras for corporate events, and 8-12+ cameras for concerts and live shows.
Do you provide live switching or ISO recording?
We offer both. Live switching gives you real-time edited output for streaming or IMAG. ISO recording captures each camera on its own, which keeps post-prod flexible. Most shoots use a mix of the two.
Can you integrate with existing venue systems?
Yes. Our tech teams are skilled at linking up with venue audio, house lighting, existing video setups, and broadcast facilities. We run tech surveys to plan how it all connects.
What's included in multi-cam production packages?
Packages usually include cameras, operators, a vision mixer or director, a tech manager, tracking, comms, cabling, and recording or switching gear. Audio, lighting, and streaming come as add-ons to suit the venue.
How much setup time is required for multi-cam productions?
Setup time depends on the build: 3-4 cameras mostly need 3-4 hours, 5-7 cameras need 4-6 hours, and 8+ camera setups may need a full day. We always allow time for a tech rehearsal before going live.
Can you provide live streaming alongside multi-cam recording?
Yes. We offer built-in streaming to platforms like YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, LinkedIn, and custom RTMP destinations. Multi-bitrate encoding and CDN distribution are ready for large audiences.
