Scroll

Post-prod audio turns raw location recordings into a polished, immersive soundtrack. With access to Cinecittà Studios' post-prod rooms and Fono Roma, we connect you with engineers who carry on Italy's famous dubbing and ADR tradition. This phase covers dialogue editing, ADR, sound design, Foley, music scoring, and final mixing. These layers work together to build the rich audio that supports and lifts the visual story.

We connect you with post-prod audio rooms and engineers across Italy who deliver broadcast and cinema-grade results. Our team sets up the full audio post workflow from dialogue cleanup through final mix. We work with Cinecittà Studios, Fono Roma, and other top rooms across Rome and Milan. That way your project meets both the tech delivery specs and your creative goals.

Italy's historic dubbing tradition wired into modern audio post

Audio post in Italy runs through the via Tuscolana doppiaggio cluster, the densest pool of dubbing, ADR and mix talent in Europe. It is anchored by Cinecittà Sound, Fono Roma and Forum Music Village. Our pipeline routes Italian and global features into those rooms with trusted engineers. The dialogue editors and mixers are credentialled through AITS and CSC, with credits across RAI Fiction, Mediaset, Sky Italia, Netflix Italia, Disney+ and Prime Video Italian originals.

The stages are equipped for Dolby Atmos theatrical, 5.1 and 7.1 surround, and stereo broadcast deliverables. They run Avid Pro Tools HDX rigs, Avid S6 control surfaces and dedicated ADR booths sized for single actor work or ensemble loops. M&E preparation is part of the standard scope. That step is key for the Italian dubbing market, which re-voices nearly every global title released theatrically or to RAI/Mediaset sites.

We track the workflow from spotting session through final mix QC against the project's distribution targets. Dialogue editors deliver cleaned production tracks. ADR is recorded in via Tuscolana booths or by remote source-connect to global talent. Foley is captured on dedicated pits by Italian Foley artists who hold decades of Cinecittà credits. Sound design then layers in custom libraries and worldised effects.

Premix passes are booked around director openings, which matters on Italian Cinema Plan shoots where MiC sign-off windows are tight. Final mix is locked in Atmos or 5.1 against IMF, ProRes and broadcast-spec deliverables. Multi-language versioning taps the dubbing setup for Italian, English, French, German and Spanish tracks. Translation, adaptation and lip-sync planning are handled in-house. All work is invoiced through CCNL Cinema Audiovisivo rates and ENPALS reporting, and it is eligible for 40% Italian Cinema Plan cash rebates.

Global productions rarely sit in the room with us, so we build the workflow around remote review. Source-connect sessions let a director or showrunner abroad supervise ADR and mix passes live. Talent is recorded in a via Tuscolana booth and streamed for approval. Secure file transfer moves cuts, stems, and reference picture without shipping drives. Our team works across time zones and holds notes against the picture lock. We turn versions around so an overseas review never stalls the editorial schedule.

Schedule pressure is the norm, so we plan editorial to run in parallel. Dialogue editing, effects cutting, and Foley can proceed at once across separate suites. They then meet at premix. That keeps a tight delivery date reachable without cutting the creative passes short. For rush jobs we stage extra room time and engineers to compress the back end. Every deliverable is QC'd against the target platform's loudness and format spec before it ships. A broadcaster or streamer reject then never bounces the project back.

FAQ

Post-Production Capabilities

What post-production audio services do you provide?

We give full post-prod audio. That covers dialogue editing, ADR recording and direction, effects editing, Foley recording, sound design, premixing, and final mix. We can run your whole audio post pipeline or supply just the services you need.

Do you have ADR recording facilities?

We set up ADR sessions at pro recording studios across Italy. Our team can arrange director-supervised sessions, give ADR oversight, and handle remote talent recording. The rooms suit single actors as well as full ensemble recording.

What delivery formats do you support?

We deliver in all common formats: stereo, 5.1 surround, 7.1, and Dolby Atmos immersive audio. Our team prepares theatrical prints, broadcast masters, streaming files, and the many versions you need. We also know each platform's rules and QC specs.

Can you work with international productions?

Yes. We often work with global shoots filming in Italy or needing Italian post-prod services. Our team handles remote sessions, knows the varied tech specs, and can coordinate across time zones.

Do you handle multi-language versioning?

We give multi-language audio services that cover dubbing planning, M&E preparation, and language version mixing. Our team can book voice talent, manage translation workflows, and deliver localized audio for global distribution.

What about working with our existing post team?

We stay flexible in how we plug into your post-prod workflow. Our team can run the whole audio post, add set services to back up your existing team, or work with your chosen editors and mixers on certain parts of the job.

Productions in Italy that need this often pair it with Boom Operators, Location Sound Services, and Wireless Audio Systems for full coverage. Most projects also draw on Thermal Imaging and Volumetric Capture.
