Lighting and grip departments in Italy are built around the capo elettricista hierarchy that has run out of Cinecittà for generations. That means dolly track, jib arms, condor work, Movi Pro sleds, and full distribution can ship as one package rather than be chased across many vendors. We set up power packs hire and city tie-ins with Sirio Service and Bartolini, and we prepare ENPALS payroll and INAIL safety forms before the first day of prep.

Riggers come up through the AIC-aligned cinematographer pipeline and the CSC tech track, so working at height under Italian safety law is handled with records, not improvisation. We scale crews honestly to the lighting plan. The main lighting team is never thinned. Local crews arrive prepped on access, power tie-ins, and gear routes from regional rental houses. That reach trims setup and keeps your call sheet on track.

Night and exterior lighting carry their own logistics, and our crews plan for them. A night shoot across a Rome piazza needs generators, cable runs, and rigging mapped first. A remote Sardinian coastline asks the same. Our gaffers work out power loads, set safe distribution, and place HMI and LED units with care. The location stays clear for camera and the public stays safe. Power tie-ins and street permits are arranged with the city authority ahead of time.
