SCENE 01 / PRODUCTION VEHICLES

Production Vehicles

Complete vehicle fleet for your Italian production.

Scroll

Production cars cover the trucks, vans, trailers, and support cars that keep a film crew working on location. Gear trucks, wardrobe trailers, cast motorhomes, and catering cars form the mobile base for each department through the shoot.

We source and build car packages from local fleet firms, and we match the car types and counts to your shoot's scale. Our team handles permits, parking, and scheduling, so your fleet backs smooth daily work at each location.

Fleets adapted for Italian ZTL, autostrade and base-camp builds

Italian production fleets must meet two rival demands. One is the narrow, permit-only streets of Centro Storico in Rome, Florence and Venice's car-reachable mainland. The other is the long hauls across the autostrada network that carry units between Cinecittà, Milan Lambrate, Lumiq Turin, the Bologna hub and the southern stages in Naples. Our fleet draws from Sirio Service, Stop-Service and Movie People. It covers camera trucks, grip and lighting trucks, combo cars, honey wagons, hair and makeup trailers, star wagons and full office trailers.

Sizes run from compact one-tonne vans for ZTL low-emission access up to articulated rigs for feature-scale base camps. These rigs serve Cinecittà or the edge of a Mediaset stage build. Each car is set up to film spec with shelving, lift gates and tie-down systems.

Logistics start with parking and ZTL clearance. We set up permits with Comune di Roma, Milano and Firenze. We also file Schengen and ATA carnets for shoots crossing in from Switzerland or France. Our team briefs Italian transport captains on the routes around the GRA, the A1 Autostrada del Sole and the mountain passes that feed Dolomites and Apennine locations.

Italian drivers with feature credits handle all-night moves when the call sheet demands it. Our coordinator stays on call to swap cars or rush a process trailer to set on short notice. The same fleet supports island work by ferry from Civitavecchia and Naples for Sardinia and Sicily shoots. We bill tolls on the autostrade network cleanly back to production, with fuel receipts for closeout.

We match the fleet to your crew size and the way each department works. Our team reviews your gear lists, cast count, and base-camp footprint, then maps the right mix. That can pair a camera truck and grip truck with wardrobe and makeup trailers, star wagons, and an office unit. We confirm load capacity, lift-gate needs, and trailer power before booking. The fleet that arrives fits the production rather than forcing the production to fit the fleet.

Bilingual coordination keeps the fleet running on time. Our transport captains brief Italian drivers and visiting crews in Italian and English, so call times and routes are clear. We share daily move plans, parking maps, and ZTL windows with each driver. When the call sheet shifts, our coordinator reworks the schedule and confirms new arrival slots fast. This keeps trucks, trailers, and cast cars landing at set in the right order through the shoot.
