Parking & Production Vehicles

General availability: difficult

Historic center is entirely ZTL (traffic limited zone). Underground parking at Fortezza and Santa Maria Novella. Street parking only outside ZTL walls.

Production vehicles: Production permits for ZTL access through Toscana Film Commission and municipality. Base camp options at Fortezza da Basso, Cascine Park, or peripheral areas.

Getting Between Locations

Florence Centro is compact and pedestrian - most landmarks within 15-min walk. Duomo to Ponte Vecchio: 10 min. Centro to Piazzale Michelangelo: 20 min uphill walk or 10 min taxi. Tuscan day trips: Chianti 45 min, Siena 1.5 hr, San Gimignano 1 hr.
